Music

I've just recently gotten into writing and singing music. All of my life I have sung to the radio and in the shower, but never in a million years did I think I would sing in public. Nor did I ever think I would play guitar, although it sounded fun. It turns out that, while I'm no amazing diva, it's not terrible to listen to. And that just amazes me. 🙂

Most of what I write about is dog related but is also about life and the world we live in.

Here are some videos of songs I've written. Subscribe to my YouTube channel and look at the Music playlist there to see more videos. I've started taking singing lessons and hope the sound will be better and better over time. Thanks for listening!

"One Breath at a Time" with cello, bass, and drum back-up in Sisters, Oregon:

Lyrics:

I'm not worthy
I don't fit in
They're too cool
I'm weak and they're strong

They all know
How to do this
I'm just faking
I don't belong

But then I
realize
I've fallen for
My old lies

I breathe in
Breathe out
Let go of my
Childhood doubt

I breathe
I breathe

If I'm not perfect
They will hate me
When I fail
I'll die alone

They don't want me
At the their table
Don't deserve a tribe
of my own

But again I
realize
I've fallen for
My old lies

I breathe in
Breathe out
Let go of
Childhood doubt

I breathe
I breathe

I blow my
Own mind
I'm alive
One breath at a  time
